Trails

There are various tails you can take in the park, see the map.

  • Green Trail - 1.36 miles
  • Yellow Trail - 0.72 miles
  • Yellow Green Trail - 0.31 miles

Longest loop: From the main entrance, take the Yellow Trail straight back (do not turn left at the first intersection), then connecting to the Green Trail at the trail intersection, staying straight on the Green Trail until reaching the back of the park, then taking the Green Trail on the side of the park back, from there taking the Yellow Trail to the entrance. It will take about 45 minutes to complete.

Shortest loop: From the main entrance, go left on the Yellow Trail at the first intersection, then go on the Yellow Green Trail (turn right), once at the intersection of the trails, go right on the Yellow Trail straight back to the entrance.

Tips for Visiting

Parking and Traffic

The parking lot is small, without only enough spaces for 5 cars.

Avoid weekends and mid-day if you can. The worst time to go is between 11AM and 4PM on Saturday or Sunday. During these times, you will see cars parked in the grass and along the street.

The parking lot can be full at any time, including afternoons on weekdays.

Footwear

Wear comfortable walking shoes, most of the trail is dirt, sand or grass. Hiking boots aren't a bad idea as the trail and could be muddy after it rains.

Bugs

Although bugs are not a big problem in this area, it's best to be prepared by carrying bug spray.

Be Respectful of Nature

Respect the environment by staying on marked trails and leaving no trace behind. Do not litter and if you bring a dog, make sure you clean up after it!
