Seahawk Park is managed in partnership with the Cape Coral R/Seahawks Club.

This well-maintained facility provides a safe and welcoming environment for radio-controlled airplane and helicopter enthusiasts to practice and showcase their skills.

Flying at Seahawk Park

All pilots must hold a valid AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) full membership to fly at Seahawk Park. Pilots are also required to wear their AMA identification while flying and pay annual maintenance and user fees.

The park offers a two-week guest flying membership, after which joining the Cape Coral R/Seahawks Club is requested. For more details, visit the official club website at www.RSeahawks.org.

RC Car Track

In addition to model aircraft, Seahawk Park occasionally features a remote-control car track where enthusiasts can race their vehicles.

Events at Seahawk Park

Gathering of the Giants

One of the park’s highlights is the annual "Gathering of the Giants" event, held every March. This event showcases large-scale radio-controlled airplanes and attracts flyers and spectators from all over.

Visitors can bring their chairs, sit behind the safety fence, and enjoy the incredible aerial displays.

Future Expansion: Festival Park

Seahawk Park is undergoing a significant expansion as part of its transformation into Festival Park.

With funding from the 2018 Parks GO Bond, the expanded park will feature new amenities and facilities. Groundbreaking began in July 2024, and the new Festival Park is expected to open in the fall of 2025.
